Sasa Curcic in 1996 for £4m was a huge disappointment, loved watching him at Bolton. Thought he'd be great for us, and maybe get the best out of Milosevic too. Stan Collymore from Liverpool for £7m in 1997 was a massive letdown. In theory, him and Dwight Yorke should have been one of the best strike pairings in the country.

A lot of people frustrated with this Luiz deal and I understand, Dougie is fantastic. But these are the types of deals that need to be completed to continue to compete and abide with psr. Can’t just spend billions like Chelsea. Iling jr could end up being top talent and there’s no reason that enzo wont. Especially with Emery at the helm. Their long-term project is just as strong as ours, but in the RIGHT NOW Villa have a more talented squad than Newcastle & a more experienced and accomplished manager. Villa taking on the champions league this year are miles ahead of Newcastle “being happy to participate” in the CL last season. Our ambitions/expectations at the club and amongst the fan base are higher than theirs.

The LDV Vans kit was disgusting. The ugly sponsor Logo just completely ruined the home kit, and the away kit had a diagonal stripe that made it look like you were wearing a pack of silk cut cigarettes. Not liking the green and black Muller kit is disgraceful. Cult Classic kit from a great team. Shame on you.
